I know some people might look at my profile and be like 'wow he has all the achievements I should ask him for help' but there are plenty of other experienced players on here you could ask to help you. Even if I don't get disconnected it literally hurts my eyes in some areas of the game. Unless you want to buy me at least a $600 laptop so I can play SOTFS online I can't help you. No I can't help you because I CAN'T PLAY ONLINE.

I'm saying it IS hard to run on a low end potato laptop. I got all of my achievements in SOTFS on an older more powerful laptop I used to have. Don't take this the wrong way because i'm broke as hell right now and can't afford a new laptop but it seems that even wanting a constant 30fps in SOTFS on a potato laptop is not possible and the only solution is to save up money for a new laptop.

SOTFS doesn't have enough options to make the game run in a really simple state (no shadows, no excessive shinyness on your armor, no extreme lighting in areas like majula, heide's tower of flame, no man's wharf, and the worse thing is that there's no option to disable particle effects).
